The
"Arts" have always been an intrinsic part of my life from an early age,
whether it be singing, dancing, drawing, painting, acting or photography.
I have always had the need for creative outlets in my life, to fulfill
my spirit and keep me grounded and content. I believe my true passion for
photography br>started with the need and desire to capture every moment of
my children's lives, if only for a moment in time, as they change and grow
so quickly! From there grew the desire to capture and save the beauty of
nature and the natural world at large, that I have always enjoyed watching
and being a part of. I try to capture the beauty, the texture, and
hopefully convey the solicitude I feel from being a part of this planet we
call "Earth"! I have always enjoyed learning about our planet and all
the wondrous creatures and fauna that live on it! Photography gives me the
chance to capture a piece of time to share the parts, colors, and
textures, that I find so alluring. My camera is very much an extension of my
core and I see pictures that I need to capture literally everywhere I
go! I display my work in two galleries in Maine: "Gallery 302" in Bridgton,
Maine and "The Lajos Matolcsy Arts Center" in Norway, Maine. I am a
freelance photographer for the "Advertiser Democrat" which is based in the
Oxford Hills Area of Maine. I also participate in many juried Art shows
and Art sales throughout the state of Maine. I also do "Senior Pictures", "
Family Photography", "Pet Photography", "Event Photography", "Calenders",
photo greeting cards and much more! I am a member of the "Oxford Hills
Camera Club" which is an educational, as well as, socially based
association. I am married with four boys ranging in ages of 22 to 14!
